Job Summary
Math-focused middle school teaching role at CIP. Internalize standards-aligned curriculum and deliver rigorous, culturally relevant math instruction to 6th–8th graders, differentiating lessons as needed. Utilize Illustrative and Zearn curricula, develop and assess assignments, quizzes, and tests, and analyze data to improve student outcomes. Engage in ongoing communication with scholars, families, and staff; contribute to school-wide systems; participate in duties such as lunch and hallway supervision; foster an equitable, student-centered classroom culture; collaborate with grade teams and leaders to strengthen teaching practice and school culture. Requires Bachelor's degree and NYS teaching certification; Master’s degree strongly preferred.
