Lower Elementary School Special Education Teacher responsible for instrucing and advocating for K-2 scholars with disabilities, leveraging data to inform IEPs and instructional decisions, differentiating instruction, and maintaining a safe, inclusive classroom. Responsibilities include implementing standards-aligned curriculum, communicating with families and staff, participating in school-wide systems, practicing restorative approaches, supporting duties such as bus/lunch/homeroom/IEP meetings, and collaborating with grade teams and coaches to improve student outcomes. Requires a Bachelor's degree and NYS teaching certification; Master’s degree strongly preferred. Salary range: $71,250-$97,750; benefits include medical/dental/vision/life insurance and retirement with 403(b) match. Starts August 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year.
