2026-2027 Learning Coach

Learning Coaches work with small groups of students and provide support for the classroom teachers. Their main responsibility is to coach and guide students in the learning centers where proficient and accelerated students work independently after direct instruction with the teacher. They also support teachers with copying, grading papers, and general classroom duties. They do not plan or create lessons or assignments, but will teach a group directly when a teacher is absent. They create a safe and orderly learning environment for students in their group and for all students in the school, and collaborate with colleagues to advance the school’s mission and vision. Supervisors include the Principal, Assistant Principal, or Lead Teachers. Salary max $54,000 for three years of demonstrated achievement; benefits include dental, health, and vision insurance.
