Job Summary
We are seeking a Lead Preschool Teacher responsible for creating engaging, play-based lessons for preschoolers aged 2-4, while prioritizing student health and safety. The role requires building trust with parents, guiding children's overall development, and engaging with the Creative Curriculum or Tools of the Mind Curriculum. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in ECE or related field and at least 2 years of lead teaching experience. A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field
- New York State Early Childhood Initial or Permanent Certification preferred
- On a New York State-approved Study Plan if not certified
- 2+ years of lead teaching experience in Pre-K or Kindergarten
- Physical exam and background checks required
