Job Summary
IT Software Support Specialist II provides troubleshooting for district instructional technology, responds to user inquiries and supports district-supported technologies, assists in creating and distributing user guides, facilitates data transfers between student information systems and instructional data systems, and prepares instructional data reports. Collaborates with IT and other departments to service district personnel, supports online training development, and stays current with software systems through training. Requires vocational training in computer science or a related field and two years of related repair experience; proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel), SQL databases, and Windows servers; travel within the school district to various sites is expected.
