Intermediate, 2026-2027 teaching role in Fort Myers, FL. Plan individually or cooperatively a program of study that meets students’ needs, interests, diverse backgrounds, and abilities; assist in establishing department or grade-level curriculum objectives and develop plans for implementation and evaluation; create a classroom environment conducive to learning; guide the learning process toward curriculum goals; employ appropriate instructional methods and materials; regularly assess student progress and communicate results; diagnose student strengths and weaknesses and involve District specialists as needed; counsel with colleagues, students, and/or parents; supervise and evaluate support personnel and volunteers; utilize technology in teaching; maintain accurate records in accordance with law and policy; perform Medicaid administrative claims activities per the SDAC Guide; adhere to Code of Ethics of the Education Profession and participate in school improvement initiatives; recognize indicators of student distress or abuse and act per procedures; establish appropriate testing environments and ensure test security.
