Job Summary
Assist the special education teacher to provide for the physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities in a SPED setting. Help implement classroom programs, including self-help, behavior management, and instruction programs. Work under the general supervision of the principal and the immediate direction of a certified teacher.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or at least 48 hours of college coursework completed
- Valid Texas educational aide certificate
- Bilingual preferred
- Some experience working with children
