Job Summary
The IT Intern will support help desk triage activities by serving as an initial point of contact, logging and categorizing incidents, and assisting with first-level issue resolution and escalation. You’ll work with regional and global IT teams to learn ticket management, user support processes, knowledge documentation, and service-excellence best practices. Responsibilities include acting as the initial contact for internal technical support requests via phone, email, chat, or walk-up; performing ticket triage; providing first-level support for laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, email, collaboration tools, and business applications; escalating unresolved issues with clear documentation and context; and assisting with knowledge base updates and end-user documentation. Desired skills include basic understanding of Windows and Microsoft 365, strong customer service mindset, clear communication, good organizational skills, willingness to learn troubleshooting methods, and familiarity with ticketing systems and Active Directory is helpful. The role is a summer internship designed to develop practical IT support experience in a global private markets environment, with a hybrid work arrangement (LI-Hybrid).
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
