Job Summary
High School Special Education Science Teacher at Coney Island Prep High School in Brooklyn. Responsible for delivering standards-aligned science instruction to diverse high school students, designing and implementing AP-level experiences, co-teaching and co-planning, developing and tracking IEP goals, leading Tier 2 and Tier 1 interventions, incorporating lab work and inquiry-based activities, and fostering an anti-racist, equitable learning environment. Requires NYS teaching certification and a bachelor’s degree; master’s degree in Special Education strongly preferred. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and NYS teaching certification required
- Experience with Special Education and working with high school students required
