Job Summary
High School Special Education History Teacher responsible for delivering standards-aligned curriculum, managing an IEP caseload, developing IEP goals, leading Tier 2 and Tier 1 interventions, co-teaching and co-planning, and communicating with scholars, families, and staff. The role emphasizes inclusive, anti-racist, culturally responsive instruction for grades 9–12, with responsibilities including data-driven instruction, advisory and school-wide responsibilities, and collaboration within a team to ensure high academic rigor and equitable learning environments. Requires NYS teaching certification, a Bachelor's degree, and experience with Special Education; Master’s in Special Education strongly preferred. Salary range $71,250–$97,750; full-time position starting August 2026.
