Job Summary
Movement-focused high school teaching role for the 2026-2027 year: develop standards-aligned curricula and engaging lesson content in physical movement disciplines (e.g., physical education, dance, yoga); deliver rigorous, culturally relevant instruction; differentiate lessons and assessments; maintain proactive communication with scholars, families, and staff; participate in school-wide duties and professional development; contribute to an equitable, inclusive learning environment and data-driven practice to improve student outcomes. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and NYS teaching certification; Master’s degree strongly preferred with incentive toward certification completion; strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills; ability to foster relationships with families and staff; dedication to anti-racism and equity.
