Job Summary
High School English II Teacher responsible for designing and delivering instruction aligned with the charter curriculum and Texas guidelines. Responsibilities include creating and revising lesson plans, adapting instruction for diverse learning styles, collaborating with special education staff on IEPs, supervising teacher aides and volunteers, using data to inform instruction, employing technology in the classroom, coordinating extracurricular activities, communicating with parents and staff, and maintaining standards per charter and state regulations. ESL certification is preferred for ELA instruction; a Bachelor’s degree and Texas teaching certification are strongly preferred. The role may require extended hours and classroom management to support student development and success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- Valid Texas Teacher Certification, strongly preferred
