Job Summary
High School Social Studies Teacher responsible for planning and delivering instruction to students in grades 9-12. Develops and implements lesson plans aligned with district curriculum, reflects accommodations for diverse learning styles, and uses data-driven assessment to guide instruction. Works collaboratively with special education staff to modify curricula as needed to support IEP goals, supervises teacher aides and volunteers, and utilizes technology to enhance the learning process. Maintains open communication with parents and staff, participates in professional development, and upholds district policies and state regulations while fostering a positive classroom environment and supporting extracurricular activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned
