Job Summary
Head Badminton Coach responsible for organizing team meetings, developing practice schedules, evaluating players, assigning positions, coordinating facility use with the athletics director, guiding assistant coaches, coaching players on rules and techniques, monitoring academic eligibility, communicating with parents and booster clubs, and promoting the sport within the school and community. Must maintain proper equipment and records, ensure compliance with state/regional/district regulations, and model sportsmanship. Certifications and fingerprint clearance are required as part of licensing and safety compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Department of Public Safety (DPS) Arizona FPCC
- NFHS Level I Certification (Includes Concussion in Sports, Fundamentals of Coaching, Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Protecting Students from Abuse)
- NFHS First Aid, Health and Safety Certificate / CPR
- NFHS Cheer and Dance Safety Certificate (applicable for Cheer, Dance and Spirit Line)
