Job Summary
Distribute monthly Esports calendars, maintain and clean the Esports Arena and Casting Center, and oversee operations during hours of service. Assist full-time staff with scheduling events and tournaments, submit IT work orders for technical issues, and collaborate with volunteers to post social media content. Establish practice and game schedules with team captains, promote Esports at tabling and recruitment events, and inventory supplies. Represent Saint Leo University and the Division of Student Affairs by ensuring alignment with institutional values and mission.
Required Qualifications
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and congenially in spoken and written English
- Ability to work effectively in an inclusive and professional environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented and diligent to follow-up and complete tasks for assigned projects
- A positive, pleasant attitude with good problem-solving skills
- Professional attire
- Clean driving record
- Capable of driving University Vans
- Eligible to become Saint Leo University Van and Golf Cart Certified
- Enrolled full-time at Saint Leo University in an Undergraduate Campus program
- Eligible for Federal Work Study
Desired Qualifications
- Education or job experience in an office environment
- Education or job experience in event planning, hospitality, journalism, communications, organizational development, marketing and/or public relations
- Ability to speak and write in a second language
- Intermediate or advanced Canva proficiency
- Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Office Professional suite proficiency
- Novice or intermediate proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud suite
- Novice or intermediate proficiency in social media platforms
