Job Summary
Coaching role for Freshmen football at SDUHSD sites requiring adherence to district and CIF NFHS codes; responsibilities include establishing team rules, scheduling practices and games, communicating changes, tracking academic performance, maintaining CPR/First Aid and TB clearances, enforcing conduct codes, creating a positive team environment, and coordinating with parents and athletic staff. Must prioritize academics, be punctual and professional, and ensure athletes’ safety and development across fall, winter, and spring seasons with seasonal stipends.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrates knowledge of fundamental and advanced coaching techniques
- Ability to teach, enforce, advocate and model appropriate behavior and educational values
- Follows NFHS and CIF Coaches Codes of Conduct
- Sport experience and preferably experience working with youth
- Ability to manage team and communicate with students, parents, and staff
- Maintain CPR/First Aid certifications and TB clearance
