Job Summary
Conduct material selection, resolve corrosion problems, and perform failure analyses for global refinery, oil field, and pipeline operations. Support the design of new facilities and provide non-destructive examination assistance while collaborating with engineering teams to optimize current materials technology. Participate in the Horizons training program to gain technical breadth in metallurgy, welding, and corrosion control across domestic and international assignments. This role offers accelerated career development within Chevron's Technology, Projects and Execution team.
Required Qualifications
- Students completing the last year of the requirements for their Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Metallurgical, Materials, or Corrosion Engineering
- Individuals with a Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate degree in Metallurgical, Materials, or Corrosion Engineering with two years or less directly related work experience
- Strong academic performance in core programs

- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status (implied by visa restriction)
