2026-2027 ESE, (Varying Exceptionality)

Plan and deliver instruction in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) to meet the needs of students with varying exceptionality; assist in establishing department/grade-level curriculum objectives and develop comprehensive plans for implementation and evaluation; create a classroom environment conducive to learning; employ appropriate instructional methods and materials; assess student progress and provide reports; diagnose learning strengths/weaknesses and coordinate with district specialists; counsel with colleagues, students, and parents; support school policies and rules; plan and supervise assignments for support personnel and volunteers; use technology in teaching; maintain accurate records; perform Medicaid administrative claims as directed; adhere to ethics and district policies; participate in school improvement initiatives; recognize indicators of student distress or abuse and take appropriate action; establish appropriate testing environments and ensure test security; and may explore eligibility for positions outside current certification area via out-of-field agreements.
