Job Summary
Plan and deliver special education instruction for ESE/Autism students in Fort Myers, FL, including development of curriculum objectives, creating a conducive classroom environment, guiding learning toward curriculum goals, employing appropriate instructional methods, assessing student progress, coordinating with District specialists, counseling with colleagues/parents, supervising support staff and volunteers, utilizing technology in teaching, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with laws and district policies; emphasize HIPAA, FERPA, Public Records, and other privacy-related regulations; adhere to ethical standards and support school improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Valid Florida teaching certificate covering appropriate area of responsibility
