Job Summary

Teach a rigorous college preparatory curriculum combining school and New York State standards while delivering high-quality, engaging instruction to middle school students. Constantly assess student progress, communicate results to families and colleagues, and provide individual or small group instruction for those needing additional assistance. Use data to drive decisions and commit to constant professional growth through close collaboration within the teaching team. Model the school's values and "whatever it takes" spirit in all communications to ensure each student succeeds. Requires at least two years of teaching experience, New York State certification, and a Bachelor's degree. Based in NYC with travel to schools; no visa sponsorship offered.

Required Qualifications

  • New York State teacher certification in the appropriate content area
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must be able to relocate to NYC or be within a commutable distance to KIPP NYC schools
  • Must have work authorization in the United States (no visa sponsorship offered)
