Job Summary
Our Elementary Speech & Language Pathologist will provide pull-out and push-in services to students in 1:1, small groups, and inclusive classroom environments. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations and screenings for receptive and expressive language deficits, articulation and phonological impairments, and auditory processing; writing evaluation reports and IEP goals; attending IEP meetings; monitoring progress and informing instruction; writing trimester progress reports; completing Access billing documentation monthly; collaborating with teachers to integrate language goals into instruction; and contributing to a positive, safe learning environment aligned with KPPS values. The role requires extensive knowledge of speech and language development, strong communication with students, families, and staff, and a commitment to anti-racism and inclusion. A PA license as a certified SLP and a Master’s degree are required, along with successful background checks and liability insurance. Salary range is $95,000–$100,000 commensurate with experience, with full health benefits and a 403(b) retirement plan for eligible staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree
- Certified Speech Language Pathologist with PA licensure
- PA licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Background checks including PA State Police Clearance, PA Child Abuse Clearance, Cogent Federal Fingerprinting
