2026-2027 Educational Assistant - Behavior and Instruction Job Pool - Less than 4.0 hours per day - Site to be determined (NON-BENEFITED POSITION)

Educational Assistant provides instructional and behavioral support under direct supervision of a licensed teacher in a school setting. Responsibilities include assisting in 1:1 and small-group instructional activities, behavior management and social-emotional support, adapting curriculum for students including those whose primary language is not English, potential health-room assistance and first aid, and general clerical duties. The role may involve tutoring, data collection and recording of student progress, and assisting with planning learning experiences and maintaining classroom records. Qualifications include an associates degree or higher (or two years post-secondary with 72 credit hours or a high school diploma with para-professional certification), ability to obtain First Aid/CPR and complete SafeSchools training, and physical ability to perform job duties such as lifting up to 50 pounds.
