Develop and implement instructional plans aligned with system-wide curricular goals and student Individual Education Programs. Provide direct special education instruction, adapt materials using varied teaching methods, and create classroom management plans to monitor behavior goals and de-escalate inappropriate conduct. Assist students with personal needs such as eating and toileting, facilitate functional behavior assessments, and maintain accurate student records per state statutes. Communicate regularly with parents, community caregivers, and support professionals to coordinate care and ensure equitable treatment for all students.
