Job Summary
EC-5th Grade Teacher with ESL required delivers instruction in core academic subjects, supports virtual/remote learning, and promotes student growth across intellectual, emotional, physical, and social domains. Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, managing classroom behavior, assessing student progress, participating in professional development, and collaborating with colleagues to support ESL and general education students.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
- Knowledge of core academic subject assigned
- General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
- Ability to conduct instruction and attend meetings and professional development in a virtual environment
- Experience: At least one-year student teaching or approved internship
- Salary determination will be based on verified relevant work experience
- Salary will be adjusted to the start date
- Work Calendar: 187 days
