Job Summary
Plan and implement an educationally enriched childcare program suitable for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Develop and execute lesson plans, monitor student progress, and provide a nurturing classroom environment. Demonstrate knowledge of developmental stages, effective communication with diverse groups, and adherence to safety and health standards. Maintain accurate student records and attend required training. Supervise children and manage classroom resources to ensure proper safety and well-being.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Current Child Development Associate (CDA) or obtain within three years of employment
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification or obtain within the first month of employment
- Satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Proficient skills in organization, typing, file maintenance, computers, and software programs, including word processing, spreadsheet, database and graphics
