Job Summary
Provide students identified with dyslexia and related learning difficulties with an individualized, intensive, multisensory, phonetic instructional program including writing, spelling, and reading components. Collaborate with students, parents, and staff to develop IEPs through ARD, implement instructional and therapeutic programs, plan and adapt instruction to diverse learning needs, assess student progress, and maintain compliance with district regulations. Maintain professional relationships with parents and colleagues and participate in ARD and 504 planning, book/equipment selection, and ongoing data-driven instruction. The role requires delivering targeted dyslexia instruction, data-driven planning, and adherence to district and state requirements in a fully in-person elementary school setting in San Antonio, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for assignment
- Student teaching, approved internship, or related work experience
