Job Summary
CTE Business Teacher for 2026-2027 at Taylor High School. Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum; deliver instruction in career and technical education for business subjects; assess student learning, modify curricula with special education staff (IEP accommodations), and manage classroom behavior. Plan and supervise instructional activities, sponsor extracurriculars, collaborate with staff, and ensure compliance with Texas Education Agency guidelines and district policies. Utilize technology effectively and support professional growth; position involves 187 contract days with start in the district’s salary schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree, or high school diploma/GED and equivalent wage-earning experience as required by certification
- Valid Texas career and technical education certificate with required license, endorsements, and training for subject and level assigned, or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan (DOI)
