Job Summary
Maintain routine clinic records, provide minor first aid care, and conduct health screenings under the guidance of a licensed registered nurse. Administer medication according to board policy, perform procedures like tube feedings after training, and operate medical equipment including blood pressure monitors and AEDs. Take vital signs, document results, and communicate findings to supervising staff while escorting students and maintaining a clean, sanitary clinic environment. Prepare and file confidential health records, manage supply inventory, and contact parents regarding pickups or emergencies per established protocols. Work 190 calendar days with a salary ranging from $22,901 to $30,610 based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- One (1) year experience in health-related position
- experience working with school-age children
- Moderate lifting and carrying (up to 15 pounds)
- May require regular heavy lifting (45 pounds or more)
- controlling behavior through physical restraint

Desired Qualifications
- Certification as a nurse aide, medical assistant or EMT preferred
- Hold/pursue certification on basic first aid and cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
