Job Summary
Perform tasks in assigned non-instructional departments including food service meal preparation, building cleaning and maintenance, facility repairs, and student transportation. Follow all district safety protocols, maintain a professional demeanor, and communicate effectively with staff, students, and supervisors. Complete duties as directed by site administrators or department supervisors and promptly report any incidents or safety concerns. As-needed basis with no guaranteed hours or consistent schedule. Compensation aligns with district classified substitute pay; no benefits are associated with this position.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass a background check and any department-specific screenings
- For bus drivers: Must hold a valid CDL with required endorsements and meet all applicable driving and safety requirements
- Requires the ability to lift, bend, stand, or sit for extended periods depending on the assignment
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior experience in the related field (food service, custodial, maintenance, or transportation) preferred
