Job Summary
The Cheer Competitive Assistant Coach will assist in designing and implementing a comprehensive activities program for high school cheerleading, ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations. Responsibilities include analyzing competition strategies, assessing student athlete performance, collaborating with the Head Coach to develop off-season programs, and maintaining records of athlete statistics and eligibility. Essential skills include leadership, effective communication with diverse groups, organizing activities, and motivating student athletes. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrate job-related experience, and hold relevant certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility
- Missouri State Teaching Certificate or Completion of NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Course
- 60 College credit hours minimum
- Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree preferred
- Sports First Aid Training
- CPR/AED Training
