Job Summary
School-Based Therapist in Gilroy, CA delivers individual, group, and family therapy for a small group of students with emotional and behavioral challenges, supporting social, emotional, and academic growth using ESS’s trauma-informed approach. Collaborates with school staff and families to create safe environments, coordinates care and referrals to community services, maintains accurate clinical documentation, participates in regular team meetings, and engages families through programming and parent support groups. Bilingual in Spanish and English required; 2+ years of relevant experience; licensure or associate status in California (ASW/AMFT/APCC or LCSW/LMFT/LPCC); proficient with EMR and Microsoft Office. Required Qualifications
- Active associate number (ASW, AMFT, APCC) or full clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) in California
- 2+ years of experience with children/adolescents with behavioral or emotional challenges
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Experience in school-based or youth mental health settings preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems
