Job Summary
Assist in implementing the Behavior Intervention Plans for students having difficulty regulating behavior in various settings; collect and document data related to individual Behavior Intervention Plans; collaborate with campus and district teams to implement behavior intervention strategies; model and train staff in behavior intervention techniques; maintain confidential student records; adhere to district safety and crisis-training protocols; require high school diploma or GED and paraprofessional certification, with at least three years of related experience; experience with autism and crisis intervention preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Qualifies for appropriate paraprofessional certificate
- At least three (3) years of experience as special education paraprofessional, or similar experience
