Job Summary
Autism Teacher for Laurel School District to educate students with autism or severe intellectual disabilities. Requires Delaware certification for teachers of students with autism or with severe intellectual disabilities and a Bachelor's degree (preferably in special education with a concentration in autism or severe disabilities). Ten-month position with benefits per district policy. Responsibilities include providing instruction and supporting the physical, mobility, and ambulatory needs of students; background check and TB test required; direct deposit participation expected.
Required Qualifications
- State of Delaware Teacher of Students with Autism or Students with Severe Intellectual Disabilities certification (1573) required
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, preferably in education, with a major in special education with a concentration in autism or severe disabilities preferred
