2026-2027 Assistant Football Coach (East HS)

Assistant Football Coach at East High School providing leadership for the school's athletic program through development and implementation of the football program. Responsibilities include coordinating the sport with the team, complying with MSHSAA standards, attending required MSHSAA sessions, supervising student-athletes at practices and contests, organizing practice schedules, ensuring safety and proper injury management, promoting sportsmanship and ethical conduct, aiding in equipment return per the KCMSD Athletic Department Handbook, and pursuing ongoing professional growth through clinics and publications. Requires completion of the MSHSAA/NFHS Coaching Principles Course and Sports First Aid Courses and fulfillment of 8 hours of professional development (district meetings, school meetings, outside clinics). Must be a certified or provisional teacher and employed as a district employee (preferred: full- or part-time district employee).
