Job Summary
Assist the Head Coach in all phases of coaching and supervising the sport, enforcing disciplined and sportsmanlike behavior at all times. Fill in for the Head Coach when required and perform other duties as assigned. Maintain safety and first aid certification (CPR/AED) and complete all required training on student development, school discipline policies, and KHSAA/NFHS guidelines. Submit to an annual evaluation by the Head Coach, Athletics Director, or Principal.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D
- 21 years of age
- Successful completion of all required training per board policy
- Physical and emotional development of students training
- School's discipline policies training
- Procedures for dealing with discipline problems training
- Safety and first aid training
- CPR/AED certification
- Clear criminal records check
- Knowledge of KHSAA guidelines and regulations
- Knowledge of NFHS guidelines and regulations
