Job Summary
Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences. Develop schemes of work and lesson plans; establish clear objectives; use relevant technology to support instruction; observe and evaluate students’ performance; assign and grade work; provide feedback; maintain records; manage classroom behavior; provide pastoral support and counseling; participate in extracurricular activities and school meetings; stay current with subject developments and teaching methods. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher, teacher education requirements, state certification, SEI Endorsement, and relevant teaching experience to support a K-12 instructional program.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Meet professional teacher education requirements of school, district and state
- Single subject teaching credential or certification if teaching a specialized subject
- State certification
- Relevant teaching experience
