Job Summary
SPED Nurse for a 2025 Summer Program provides nursing and health services for school-age students during summer school hours, including medication distribution and emergency first aid for on-site activities and field trips. Responsibilities include organizing daily schedule at one school site, attending field trips, maintaining records, and communicating with the summer Director and Coordinators. Requires a Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred), Massachusetts RN License, MA School Nurse licensure, and CPR/AED certification. Employment is part-time (Jul 7–Aug 7, Mon–Thu, 7:45–12). An offer contingent on successful CORI/fingerprinting. Salary: $60.00/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary license in: School Nurse
- Must hold a Massachusetts RN License and have a current CPR/AED certification
- Previous experience in the area of support is preferred
