Job Summary
Provide Spanish language instruction to students in a supportive learning environment. Develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and modify curricula as needed. Collaborate with special education staff, manage classroom behavior, and maintain positive relationships with parents and the community. Participate in staff development and adhere to school policies. Bachelor's degree in education or related field and valid Texas teaching certificate required. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in content and ESL certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
- Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check
Desired Qualifications
- Master degree in content preferred
- ESL certified
