Job Summary
Advocate for and support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by assisting with household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, and medication administration. Follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans, and medical guidelines while safely evacuating individuals during emergencies. Administer medications and accompany clients to medical appointments, banking, community outings, and other activities to foster independence. Maintain certifications including CPR/First Aid, PABC, Defensive Driving, and Medication Administration Program in compliance with Agency policies and DDS regulations. Work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays, with a sign-on bonus and paid training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities to participate fully in their community and in their own lives
- Varied interests and personal connections in the local community
- Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior (work, volunteer or school history)
- Ability to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated member of the team
- 21+
- reliable transportation

- High School Diploma or GED

- Employee must be able to speak, read, and write in fluent English
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the program and individuals supported
