Job Summary
Senior Windows-focused infrastructure leader responsible for architecture, standards, and lifecycle management of server, virtual, network, and security infrastructure. Oversees administration of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Exchange, VMware vSphere, and core services (DNS, DHCP, file/print), leads infrastructure projects from requirements through delivery, mentors team members, and emphasizes reliability, security, and scalability in alignment with enterprise and HQ directives. Requires 7–10 years of enterprise Windows experience; associate’s degree or equivalent, and relevant Microsoft/VMware certifications. On-site role based in Montgomery, AL with a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Microsoft Certifications: MCSA or MCSE in Server Infrastructure
- VMware Certification: VCP or related certification
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Windows-based server environments in enterprise settings
- Strong proficiency with Windows Server technologies including Active Directory, Exchange, Intune, MECM/SCCM, and WSUS
- VMware vSphere/vCenter experience (version 5 or higher) in production environments
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system and infrastructure issues
- Track record of delivering projects on time with minimal supervision
- Experience supporting cross-functional IT environments including help desk operations
- Experience with security practices across infrastructure (Azure AD, group policy, authentication, vulnerability mitigation)
