Job Summary
Oversee and implement nursing services in residential programs serving individuals with developmental disabilities or acquired brain disorders. Train and certify non-licensed staff in medication administration, health tasks, and emergency procedures per New Hampshire He-M 1201 regulations. Conduct competency assessments, develop individualized care plans, and ensure safe medication storage and documentation. Provide nursing consultation to direct support staff and program managers while monitoring resident health status and coordinating care with providers. Maintain accurate health records, participate in quality assurance reviews, and stay current on state regulations. Full-time M-F role with frequent travel across New Hampshire; on-call availability may apply.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New Hampshire
- Completion of the state-approved Nurse Trainer (He-M 1201) orientation program
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (travel between sites required)
- Must be an RN
- M- F no weekends (FULL TIME)
- Frequent travel to residential program sites across New Hampshire
- On-call availability may be required based on agency needs
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred at least 2 years of experience in nursing, with preference given to those with experience in developmental services, behavioral health, or long-term care
- Prior experience working in residential or community-based settings with individuals with developmental disabilities or acquired brain disorders
- Familiarity with New Hampshire developmental services system and He-M 1000 rules
- CPR/First Aid Instructor Certification (preferred, not required)
