Job Summary
Board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine physician sought for a hospital-employed ED in a 20-bed Level II trauma center. Join a high-performing Lifepoint team with 9 physicians and 3 PAs, teaching affiliation with Michigan State University, and access to Cerner EMR, US/CT/MRI imaging, and dedicated CME hours. Expect 12–15 shifts per month (8- and 12-hour shifts available) with opportunities to cover rural critical access hospitals within the system. Competitive compensation package includes sign-on and relocation assistance, PTO, retirement plan, student loan repayment, CME allowance, liability coverage, and practice-growth support. Approximately 1.6 patients per hour with radiographic support, and a collaborative, supportive environment focused on physician well-being and community impact.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
- Hospital employment with teaching affiliation
- Experience in a 20-bed ED at a Level II trauma center
- Ability to provide coverage across 8- and 12-hour shifts (8-hr & 12-hr shifts)
- Participation in teaching medical students and residents; affiliation with Michigan State University (MSU)
