2 West Registered Nurse Med Surg/Tele/Stepdown Night Shift Full-Time

Provides professional nursing care in an inpatient hospital setting as a Level I RN. Responsibilities include modifying the plan of care based on data collection and patient needs; applying Evidence-Based Practice; delegating according to scope of practice; validating plans with interprofessional teams, patients, and families; providing education; promoting effective communication among care teams; influencing safety and quality through policy and practice; utilizing resources for patient care; and participating in ongoing professional development. Shift is 1845-0715 nights with alternating weekends; 36 hours per week. The CAPE clinical ladder outlines progression by year of experience and degree, with requirements for competencies, charge nurse duties, and ongoing quality improvement participation.
