2 West Patient Care Technician Night Shift Full Time

2 West Patient Care Technician position providing nonprofessional direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include observing and reporting patient concerns, assisting with admission/transfer/discharge and general patient care, recording vital signs and monitoring outputs, assisting with specimen collection, maintaining a safe, clean environment to prevent infections, communicating with the RN about nutrition and care needs, and supporting department operations. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire; prior patient care experience preferred. Night shift, full-time, 36 hours weekly; working in Princeton, WV within WVU Health System.
