Job Summary
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy and integrity across operations, overseeing high-volume inventory transactions, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with SOX controls. Key responsibilities include leading root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies, serving as the accountable owner for inventory SOX compliance, overseeing inventory data integrity, assisting in the enhancement of inventory control policies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires strong ownership and analytical problem-solving skills, along with the ability to support Finance and Accounting for inventory-related audits.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in accounting or 2+ years of inventory experience
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office
Desired Qualifications
- Previous data and systems analysis experience
- Background in project accounting
- SAP ERP/accounting software experience
- Strong commitment to customer service
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, prioritization and organizational skills
- Ability to work across multiple organizations in a fast paced, smaller company environment
- Ability to work well independently under tight deadlines
