Job Summary
Planate Management Group seeks an experienced Construction Manager to support the EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades Project at James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital in Tampa, FL. The role involves coordinating submittal reviews, monitoring schedules and milestones, conducting inspections and field verification of as-built drawings, addressing non-conforming work with the COR, tracking RFIs and responses, maintaining project plans and budgets, assisting with change orders, and providing troubleshooting and coordination with project stakeholders throughout construction (one-year base with three option years). The position focuses on construction management for healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with VA standards and project specifications while supporting the COR across the construction phase.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited university in lieu of a degree, fifteen (15) years of directly related experience.
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience in management of facility construction projects, including supervision of engineering, design and construction, schedule control, cost management, program budgeting, and overall project management activities.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
- Ability to communicate effectively with project construction team members.
- Healthcare project/facility experience preferred.
- Provide EHRM project construction management support.
