Job Summary
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for shipping and receiving tasks, including unloading and loading trailers, verifying product counts, and ensuring proper storage protocols. You will check shipments for damage, assist in inventory management, perform order picking, and load products efficiently into railcars or trailers. This role requires the ability to operate forklifts and other equipment safely, as well as maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and 70 lbs occasionally, standing and walking for extended periods, and working in a temperature range of +34 to -10 degrees F.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous high reach forklift and/or warehouse training
- Ability to lift overhead
- Ability to work overtime
- Good arithmetic and reading skills
- Understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Self-starter that can work independently
