Job Summary
Drive a Yard Truck/Tractor for loading, unloading and staging ready loads in the yard/dock area; coordinate with Operations Management to keep trailers moving and docks clear; assist in meeting daily department goals and uphold the company Mission; check temperatures on trailers and fuel on reefer units; report equipment issues to supervisor; physical requirements include climbing in/out of tractors and handling hoses; includes benefits such as weekly pay, orientation, training, overtime, and health/dental/vision coverage.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred or GED accepted
- 1-2 years of CDL A driving experience preferred
- Valid Class A CDL preferred
- Comprehend math, spelling and reading of various forms to ensure accurate records are kept
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in the transportation industry preferred
