Job Summary
Welding role focused on fitting and welding parts to customer specs using MIG and TIG processes, reading blueprints and weld symbols, and setting up welding machines with correct parameters and shielding gas. Candidate will work first or second shift with overtime/weekends as needed, adhere to safety procedures, maintain a clean shop environment, and meet high-quality standards. AWS D1.1 certification is required during the interview process, and the position requires physical capability for lifting up to 100 lbs and standing for long periods. Required Qualifications
- Must have at a minimum of 1 year of experience or training.
- Certifications: AWS D1.1 will need to be obtained during interview process
- Knowledge, understanding, and use of weld symbols
- Knowledge, understanding, and use of blueprints
- Ability to MIG / Fillet weld
- Ability to 3G uphill weld
- Ability to double V groove weld
- Must be able to lift up to 100lbs.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and chemicals.
