Job Summary
WELDER | Operate TIG/MIG/Plasma welding to join components, prepare production orders from BOM, solder and assemble wires to electronic components, and perform automated and manual welding with attention to quality. Will use welding drawings and specifications, conduct visual and functional testing, and perform non-destructive testing per manufacturing standards. Responsibilities include buffing/polishing to achieve hygienic 3A certification, utilizing production software to close orders, and supporting maintenance of welding equipment. Requires High School diploma/GED and 1-2 years related experience or training; experience with stainless steel, Hastelloy, and ASME Section IX is preferred. Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and willingness to learn different positions in a safety-first manufacturing environment in Greenwood, IN.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 1-2 years related experience or equivalent professional training
- Experience with TIG, MIG, or Plasma welding of stainless steel, steel, and/or Hastelloy
- Ability to read and understand welding drawings, symbols, and specifications
- Certified to ASME Section IX, preferred
- Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated
- Able to use hand tools, power tools, and operate machines
- Able to follow written and verbal directions
- Must be flexible and willing to learn different positions
